Intercollegiate Equestrian Teams

 

Who is involved?

 
NCAA Teams:    NCAA schools recognize the equestrian team as any other sports teams.

                    -This means that the team is given all the advantages 

                      any college teams.

                    -This means scholarships are available for riders.

                    -And costs are covered by the athletics department.

                    -The team is involved in both IHSA and varsity tournaments

 

 

 
Club Teams:    Club Teams are not recognized sports.

                  -Simply involved in IHSA

                     -Not provided financial aid or able to give scholarships.

                     -Can ride professionally, have only IHSA rules to abide by.
