IF IT’S TRUE
Once again we meet, opening
to the last act
Familiar with each other, we begin as before
I sense his need, to be desired and adored
We have a bond; we know every time we stumble upon each other
In our hearts we pause; aware it’s not of GOD
Though we feel the energy when we are together
He holds back, for she is keeping him committed
Loyal to his oath, until death ranks his status
My strength is GOD; chastise; I moan
A turbulent life I had lived, to change for my LORD
I am devoted to do the right thing, honest and sincere
Challenge to submit; my position with him will be honor
My dream is to step into the aisle of my father's house
The day I declare my vows, I will surrender my sword
GOD bless my day for my moment will be approaching
He enters my dreams, smiling and laughing
We take pleasure of our moment together
A friendship as if we love each other; forever
What type of power is this, I cannot control
To experience this love, I suffer; it’s deceiving
My heart desires his touch, I have to let go
Thoughts of another gets him out from under
Underneath it all we love each other
The timing of our love is out of sync
I must stomp away, hoping to forget
Destiny I can’t change, fate will be
If this is true, he will return, together we will be
A taste of me in his taste; forever
