In silence I sit; darkness I discover
Whispers I hear, the LORD chats with me
Focused I must be, clear thinking is required
What is this despair?
Instruct to hurt and disconnect
Will I let this be any other way?

What is this sadness?
Will not support it, no fault of any
The love and power within
Strengthen me deeply
Who's to say pain must feel one way?
The codes are written we must feel the agony
Will I allow it to be different?

Inward I search
A radiant light, blinds my sight
Sensitive to my senses
A source of power to be taken
Accept myself I will, love myself I do
No more sadness, permit it to be different

Express it differently
Understand it, identify it
Learn from it, seek its beauty
Renounce this misery,
Believe positive energy to emerge
Nourish the joy and relish your life
Allow GOD to guide your fight
