The NextGen - Dyna module is intended for graduate students in civil engineering. The module will consist of the lab component of the Dynamics of Structures Masters course. Graduate students will develop computer simulation programs for multiple degree of freedom structures, and then verify that code with tests performed on the Shake Table in the Structures Lab. Tests will be shown live in Web-Enhanced classrooms via NextGen - Webpath. Video will also be shown to local high schools and used as a recruitment tool to further develope the NextGen program.
