The NextGen - MEP module is intended for incoming Fresno State freshmen. MEP stands for Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement (MESA) Engineering Program. It is meant to act in conjunction with the existing Engineering Pathways summer program.
The MEP module will be offered simultaneously with the NextGen - HS module as a 2-Credit Summer Course. Each MEP student will be assigned a group from the HS module (I-SEEEs) to mentor. The MEP student will be responsible for helping their I-SEEEs pass their NLS tutorials as well as passing their own grade appropriate NLS Exam. This provides both a learning opportunity as well as a valuable leadership opportunity.
The requirements for admission into this module are that:
Students must have completed the NextGen - HS module previously
Students must be incoming freshman at California State University of Fresno
