| Hello:
If you have never played on my field before, here are answers to our most FAQ's: |
Q: How do you play paintball? A: Well for the best Explanation, I suggest you click HERE! |
Q: What Is the terrain like at the field? A: The field has, naturally rolling hills and tall grass, as well as, alot of variously configured man made bunkers, including but not limited to, two story forts, and various sizes and shapes of standing bunkers. Pictures of some of the barriers on the field can be seen in the Gallery |
Q: How Safe is it? A: In Short, VERY, in all the years that I have been playing (in excess of 7 years), the worst injury I have seen other then a welt, is a sprained ankled a player recieved when he fell in a gopher hole. The main thing to remeber is you must keep you mask on at all times and try to use common sense. |
Q: What kind of protective gear do you need? A: Your most important piece of protective equipment is your mask (which covers all the sensitive areas on your head; eyes, ears, mouth, and temples), which is a absolutely required. All though not requied other protective gear is suggested, including but not limited to, groin protection, hand protection, neck protection, and any other padding for sensitive areas, you might require. |
Q:What should I wear? A:I suggest, that if you are going to play on our field or any other field for that matter, it is best to wear fatigues, they are durable and resistant to the hazards inhereint on most fields, i.e. thorns, nettles, and various other stining or biting insects or plants. Combat boots are always good they provide excellent resistance to field hazards and give adaquate ankle protection. If those are not available you want something that is durable, and easy to move in, do not wear lose knit cotton clothing like sweats unless you, enjoy having tons of thorns sticking you at every turn. Gloves are always a benefit, as well as some thing to cover the top of your head like an old hat, or a bandana. A belt is always useful as well. |
Q:Does it hurt? A:Probably the most frequently asked question, usually with a slight bit of apprehension. Though it is the most common question it is the hardest to answer, being hit does sting, and if you get hit in a few of the more tender areas it can hurt, however usually you are so hopped up on adrenaline that you barely feel it. I have been hit just about everywhere on the body and would have to say that all in all it is not bad kind of like a bee sting, usually the worst part is the apprehension before the first time yo uget hit as you will worry about it quite a bit wondering if I am feeding you a line of B.S. or if in fact it really isn't that bad. in the end its all relative. |
